It does not make much of a difference here and to your work. You won’t find any true Core i5 processor having 4 cores in this 40k budget. Core i3-5005U is a powerful processor and can handle heavy tasks and softwares with ease.

But today flipkart have got an offer on HP 15 ac123tx and they’re selling it for 38990.

First of all thanks for your appreciation. Here HP 15 ac123tx do have a bit better processor in form of Core i5-5200U but Asus a555lf xx262t has way better graphics card in form of Geforce 930M. So overall the performance of Asus a555lf xx262t would be better especially in games. So i would say that you have made the right decision in choosing Asus a555lf xx262t.

Don’t worry as both these laptops are good for everyday use. The HP one does have some lead in the multitasking department because of slightly better processor. But for gaming and graphics related tasks Asus a555lf xx262t is way better.

If style is one of your main preferences then you may go for it. Its everyday performance is good but gaming may suffer as it does not come with graphics card. And yes you can updrade the storage.

I am planning to buy a new laptop i3 10th or 11th generation, with 8gb RAM, 256gb or 500 GB SSD 15.6 screen. Since last few days I m looking for it on some online shopping sites..there are mixed reviews for all most all the companies ( dell , hp, Acer , Asus, Lenovo)some companies are having horrible reviews from verified buyers saying the machine is giving too much trouble , service is bad etc..I also talked to a local reputed shop near me about this issue..the shop guy said ,” now a days all most all companies including top most companies compromise on quality products especially in the low budget and mid budget range laptops, so you can start getting minor problems in the laptop in a year n half or so and dont expect the laptop to last more than 3 years…if it works more than that than its your good luck,”!! Similar things I have heard from some of my friends..that their 2012 bought laptops are working well but laptops bought in 2019-2020 are giving them a tough time…what’s your take on this..is this whole thing true ? ( +/- 3000). Excluding monitor, key board , mouse and smps power supply..as I already have these things. Usage :-basic use like net surfing, zoom meeting etc, using some light softwares that I used on my 1st generation i3 too. In near future may be a little bit of very light gaming, light video editing, opening multiple tabs ( 4 to 5 max) along with some other light software stuff ( even my first generation i3 supported this), can use for Netflix , Amazon prime etc..thank you

I checked on Amazon, almost every brands SSD be it sata or nvme has many bad reviews like the verified customers saying the SSD stopped working after a few days or weeks , the data got deleted automatically or got corrupted, the speed is not as per the specifications etc..I am more worried about the data gets lost complaints..are those problems with SSD real ? Secondly sata Vs nvme which one is best…thank you 👍
Maybe they have received a defective piece. A good branded SSD lasts longer and your data will be safe on it. A SATA SSD will be enough for you.
