List of 4G VoLTE Phones in India for Reliance Jio & Other Mobile Networks
Suddenly the craze for VoLTE phones has gone up in India with the announcement of Reliance JIO 4G plans whether it is Data or Voice calling plan. Reliance Jio has been commercially launched on 5th September 2016 and they offer the cheapest voice and 4G data plans for Indian customers.
Note: Reliance Jio service requires 4G phones and it will not work on 2G/3G phones.
What is VoLTE
VolTE or Voice over LTE Network is a mobile technology that supports voice over 4G or LTE network. This means in VoLTE all the voice services run on the 4G network instead of the traditional circuit switched technology. Here for voice calling you will be charged according to your 4G data plan only. This means you only have to pay for 4G data both for voice calling as well as Internet.
It must be noted that not all 4G phones support VoLTE as some of them support only LTE Data but all VoLTE phones support both VoLTE calling and 4G Data. To make use of VolTE you have to turn On or enable the VoLTE on your smartphone for your mobile network.
VoLTE is a packet switched technology and it has various advantages over the traditional circuit switched voice technology and 3G technology. Advantages of 4G VoLTE are being mentioned below.

Here are the advantages of VoLTe over GSM / 2G / 3G mobile networks.
- Up to three times voice and data capacity than 3G network and up to six times more capacity than 2G GSM network. This means it has relatively larger load carrying capacity.

Which one is best among the following 4G LTE phones ?
1) Lenovo Vibe K5 (Snapdragon 616)
2) Samsung Galaxy on5 Pro
Samsung has upgraded processor (Android 6.0 Marshmallow) and Lenovo has latest processor Snapdragon 616.

Lenovo Vibe K5 is definitely better in terms performance. Long term usage depends on the person on well he care or treats its phone.
Also with no or very less heating problems.

Not in my opinion. If you play games continuously then every heats so please keep this in mind.

How about Latest Asus Zenfone 3 Max?.It doesn’t have VOLTE support i think.S sidelining this option, how’s phpne specifications?

Design has nothing to do with any advantage. It is better to buy a phone with VoLTE if possible.
Is Latest lenovo k6 series volte supported?
And how is lenovo k6 power 16 gb variant and when will it go on sale?
Is it worth to spend a thousand bucks extra for k6 power than k6.
Also ,it doesn’t have hybrid slot,major advantage over redmi 3s,isn’t it?
Both these Lenovo K6 phones support Volte. 16GB variant has the same performance as the 32GB one because they have same processor i.e. Snapdragon 430. The only difference is in the internal storage. If you use both the SIM cards and need more storage then it is advisable to go with K6 Power otherwise not.

On this link it is given that k6 power has hybrid slot.Can u give any link or confirm that it has separate dual sim slot and memory card slot.
Ok I have confirmed it and K6 Power also has Hybrid SIM slot.

The closest you can get is Redmi 3s Prime. It comes with hybrid sim slot.

problem in this mobile is this that it has only two sim slot in which one can be either used for sim or memory card…i dont like it, i need two sim slot and one more separate slot for memory card.

go for Moto G4 Play as it is cheaper yet powerful and has removable battery. It supports VoLTE.

I would say Moto G4 Plus and then Lenovo K5 Note.

rear camera, 5 MP front camera, 4G & 3G SIM slots, adequate removable battery, WiFi, etc., and meant for MMS & SMS and data rather than for calling.
You have to compromise on couple of things because i think there is no phone in the market with all these specs. The closest phone you can get is Xiaomi Mi Max. It has almost all the things except removable battery.

i have a samsung galaxy tab 4 can it support jio 4g because on the back it is written 4g supported but verizon only . verizon is an american sim company so that means i can put only verizon 4g sim in my tab . because it is locked to verizon. is there any way to put jio sim because when i put jio sim it shows “”SIM IS NOT FROM VERIZON WIRELESS””. my tab is 4g but how to put jio sim in it
