List of Phones with IR Blaster & Fingerprint Sensor
IR blaster and Fingerprint Sensor are the two most exciting features that are gaining too much popularity and craze among the current generation of smartphones users. Normally you can either have IR Blaster or Fingerprint sensor in a Smarpthone but it is very hard to find both these features in a single Smartphone, but there are few phones out there that are equipped with both these new and prominent features and here I am going to tell you about these phones, but first we briefly look at both these features.
IR Blaster – IR Blaster is a feature that turns your phone in a Universal Remote and by which you can control devices like, TV, Music Player, AC, Projectors or any other device that requires an infrared remote to operate. IR Blaster is hardware feature as it requires an Infrared Senor or Infrared LED for its working. For using IR Blaster an App is also required which can give commands to the devices using IR LED. Generally all the IR Blaster phones comes with their own in-built IR Blaster App but for Android phones you can also download and use other third party Infrared Blaster Apps from Google Play.

Fingerprint Scanner – Finger Sensor is a security feature that locks and unlocks your phone or individual applications so that no one else can use it. It is also called Fingerprint Scanner or Fingerprint Reader. The Fingerprint Sensor is usually located on the back or rear side of your phone, usually below the camera. When you put your finger on it then it scans it and if a match is found then the phone or the app will get unlocked.

If said is true about the Zenfone 3 deluxe not having an IR blaster, please remove it from this list. It seems that you may have added it by mistake. I’m happy that this comment section exists. Had I referenced only the list, I would have made a purchase of USD $399.99, only to be disappointed.

LeEco 1s was around at around 12k when launched. LeEco 1s Eco price is 10k. Now you can only find the Eco version as both are the same thing only.

How would you recomend redmi note 3? is there any other better phone than that in range of 13000? Specifications wise redmi note 3 wins over k4 note. After sales service is a issue with all these chinese brands. If you need another good phone with fingerprint + IR + good battery then go with LeEco Le 2. And if you need a branded phone then go for Moto G4 Plus (2G RAM).

I would strongly suggest Lenovo Vibe X3.
But marshmallow is not there in vibe x3,

Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 is better. Other good options are Moto X Play (16GB), Moto G4 Plus (3GB RAM)

It is a good phone and you should be OK with it. I don’t see any issues with its marshmallow update.

As far as I know, the S6 dont has IR. Are you sure that the S6 has IR?
I am confirmed that Samsung Galaxy S6 has IR Blaster and Fingerprint sensor both. The S7 does not come with IR blaster.
Phones that have both ir blaster and fp scanner and also support third party infrared app ,… i am confirmed that letv doesn’t support any third party ir app and there inbuilt app is useless mostly and also there universal remote is not accurate.I align my airtel setup box remote with le 2 and when i press 0 it works like 0 but when i command 150 ,the result come 155 ….

Yes it is true that most of the IR blaster phones do not support third part IR blaster apps. I know that Samsung IR blaster phones does support most of the third party Infrared apps and some of the IR blaster apps are made especially for samsung phones. At 25k I would suggest you to go for Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 (a little expensive). Other phone that I love and would like to suggest in this budget is Huawei Honor 7.

LG G4 is an amazing phone and it still packs a punch. I love this phone even though LG G5 has been released. Asus phones are good good value for money phones and are reliable than the other Chinese phones.

I am confused between Moto G4 plus and MI note 3.. Moto has the name and MI3 has the IR blaster. Moto has the camera and MI3 has an affordable price. In terms of reviews and performance, I see MI3 as the winner but still can’t make my mind. What would you suggest? P.S- My dad already has a Moto G4 plus and he is enjoying it.

Radiation is well under check. Build quality is very good and it has premium metallic feel. You may also go for lenovo vibe x3 as it is a very good phone too. For Bluetooth earphones look for something in Philips.

I noticed an error in your list. The Galaxy S6 Edge does have an IR blaster and belongs on this list, while its larger sibling, the S6 Edge+ (S6 Edge Plus) does not. Simply remove the “+” to make it correct. 🙂
